The Perspective:
Vishay's new high-temperature 140 CRH and low-impedance 150 CRZ surface-mount aluminum capacitors meet the rigorous IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020 soldering guidelines for the most severe reflow soldering profile available. Offered in seven case sizes, the 140 CRH devices provide high-temperature performance to + 125 °C, while the 150 CRZ capacitors feature a very low "Z," or maximum impedance at 100 kHz, of 0.035 Ω and a ripple current to 1756 mA. All devices in the extended 140 CRH and 150 CRZ series are charge- and discharge-proof, so there is no peak current limitation. For vibration-proof performance, the capacitors are offered in 4-pin and 6-pin versions.
