Mini Multi-Lane iPass is the Molex trade name for a 0.8 mm pitch, low profile I/O interconnection system, capable of transferring signals with data speeds up to 10GBps. The iPass connector was selected by the SFF committee for the new generation storage interconnection, documented in specifications SFF 8087 (internal) and SFF 8088 (external), and was adapted by the SAS and SATA organizations as mini-SAS and mini-SATA.
